Program Costs

Registration fees make up approximately 40% of the cost of running OSC’s programs. The rest of our costs are made up through corporate sponsorship, fundraising, of which the casino is the largest, and grants that the OSC executive researches and applies for annually.   We also have a small group of hard working parents that volunteer many hours to organize and run the OSC programs.  Please help us by being supportive and conscientious in volunteering and fulfilling your fundraising commitment as this is what allows our club to be accessible and available for the children of Onoway and surrounding areas. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Volunteer Agreement

The Onoway Skating Club, being a parent run organization, depends on member’s volunteer efforts to keep the club up and running. Many positions are available including helping with our showcases as well as help with various activities throughout the year. Each family is required to participate.

Fundraising Agreement

All members must commit to fundraising efforts as it is crucial to keeping our programs affordable. Individual program fundraising requirements are listed in each program registration. An email will be sent to the participants once all fundraising details are sorted throughout the year.
